After a nine-month battle against cancer, "HUMAYUN AHMED" died in Bellevue Hospital, New York on July 19, 2012 at 11.20PM(BD Time). He was suffering from colon cancer and after taking 12 doses of chemotherapy, he had undergone a successful operation on June, 2012.
